Both in good condition, rosewood of good rich colour with scattered fine old scuffs, small dents and scratches commensurate with age, brass galleries with one or two small losses, and signs of once having been gilt, mirror backs with oxidisation spots, more pronounced on one than the other, light rubbing to the gilding at the friezes and similarly worn and rubbed on the scroll supports, scuffing to the plinths commensurate with use.
