A pair of South Staffordshire enamel tea caddies and covers, and two similar candlesticks, late 18th century, the pair of rectangular tea caddies printed in puce with figures by a river and overpainted in enamels with classical ruins and trees, gilt metal borders, height 4.1in., the candlesticks painted with floral sprays, 6.25in. and 10in., candlesticks with some damage

Both of the tea caddies have hairline cracks on the upper corners, please see photographs, it is possible that the gilt metal mounts have been restuck at some stage, no restoration or chips, the taperstick has restoration to the top of the drip pan and various cracks and losses to the enamel on the stem and base, the larger candlestick is missing its sconce and there are a number of cracks to the stem and base, generally grubby with old wax residue, some lead weighting to the underside, comes together with an associated conical extinguisher which is extensively cracked.
