A pair of Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson oak candelabra, of gothic design with wrought iron sconces, from a set of 20 commissioned in 1936 for Bramshill House Police Training College, Hampshire. 15in.

The first candelabra has some slight knots in the wood and has 1202 inscribed in pen underneath the base, a few tiny nicks to the wrought iron sconces.
The second example which is slightly more orange in colour has got a broken and restored right hand branch with some coloured wax around the break and has probably had a nail or screw put in which has been over-coloured as well, has got 1203 inscribed in ink underneath, occasional minor scuff otherwise good.
