A pair of Meissen figural candlesticks, late 19th century, each modelled with a figure of either a lady or gentleman in a floral arbour surmounted by a candlestick, on a scrollwork base, incised model numbers 166 and underglaze blue crossed swords marks, height 12cm

Condition: The candlestick with a gentleman has old metal repairs and restoration to a break on the branch and nozzle. Both candlesticks have many losses to the encrusted flower and leaves. Both grubby.
