A pair of Japanese cloisonné enamel vases, early 20th century, each decorated with birds amid blossom and flowers, on an apple green ground, circle and three rings mark to base, possibly Ando, 21.3cm high, one damaged

Condition:
The first vase has a dented rim with some enamel loss to the border beneath it and to the blue enamel on the interior of the neck and is missing the applied foot rim. The second vase has wear to the silver plating on the top and bottom rims, some occasional small white speckles of emulsion paint which come off with a thumbnail, otherwise in good condition.
