A pair of George III silver wine coasters by Soloman Hougham, the central boss engraved with a bull and inscribed 'Holkham Sheep Shew, 1811, for the best Devonshire Bull', with continuous engraved foliate decoration and turned wooden bases, London, 1811, 14.8cm diameter.

Baize on underside of both bases quite worn. There is s tiny hairline split to the wooden base on the underside of one coaster. Some minor tarnish, otherwise both are in good condition, commensurate with age and use. Hallmarks clear but with some rubbing to both maker's marks.
