(1710-1783), and made from the metal of the guns of the floating batteries destroyed by the Garrison of Gibraltar, Sep 13 1782 and fitted with Pinchbecks Patent No.892 sprung candlestick socket mechanism, signed, engraved with the provenance and indistinct monogram, height 11.75in.
