A pair of George III Irish silver bacon? tongs, with ribbed arms, John Laughlin? Dublin, circa 1775, 10in, 4.5 oz.

Ther are a few tiny nicks around the pivot boss and one side of the pivot has a silver cover, the other appears to have no cover which may now be missing??. The overall condition is otherwise good, consistant with age and use. Marks clear although some mild rubbing has occurred.
