A pair of George II Irish silver salvers by John Laughlin Senior, of shaped circular form, with scroll borders, later? engraved scroll decoration and engraved armorial with latin motto 'My Help From Above', on three hoof feet, Dublin, circa 1740, dia. 20.7cm, 27 oz.

Scratch weight on back of one 14=5, now weighs 13.6oz approx. Other scratch weight 14=4, now weighs 13.6 approx.
Some minor wear to the rim decoration on both commensurate with age and some use. Some minor surface scratches in general and some indentations on the back caused by later decoration. Marks clear but no date letter on either.
