A pair of Chinese powder blue famille verte bottle vases, Kangxi period (1662-1722), each painted to shaped reserves with insects, foliage and rockwork, underglaze blue double circles to the base, 26cm high

One vase has a splinter chip to the outside edge of the rim and some hairline cracks which are slightly stained on the interior but more difficult to see on the exterior. The second vase has a tiny splinter chip to the edge of the unglazed foot and some abrasion to the glaze on the rim. Both vases with typical minor glaze imperfections and some scratching to the glaze consistent with age.
