A pair of Chinese hexagonal baluster 'clobbered' vases and covers, 18th century and later, painted in underglaze blue with panels of flowers and over-enamelled in Holland in red, pale green and gilt decoration, 31.5cm

Both vases have some slight wear to the gilding, most noticably on the shoulder, the covers similarly have some wear around the edges, one cover with firing cracks to the interior and a splinter chip to the inner cover and a shallow splinter chip to the underside of the rim, the second cover again has some firing cracks on the inner sleeve of the cover but there is a crack and a chip to the edge and also a diagonal hairline crack across one side of the cover.
