A pair of Chinese blue and white hexagonal baluster vases, Qianlong four character seal marks, 19th century, painted in Ming style with flower and fruit sprays and feathered scrollwork pendants between bands of ruyi heads and keywork scrolls, height 44cm, one rim broken and restored

The first vase has an overglazed firing crack to the edge of the foot which is visible on the underside also, there is fritting to the glaze with the cobalt blue decoration come through on the leading edges of the vase, the second vase has two sections of the rim broken and restored with some obvious filler around the area, the restoration has not been completed so it is fairly obvious what has been damaged, again this vase has some fritting to the glaze with the cobalt blue coming through on the leading edge and edge of the foot, otherwise in good condition.
