Both vases have typical minor glaze imperfections, in good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks.

Provenance: The vendor's father was working out in the far east from the 1920's to the late 1930's and after the war in the 1950's and '60's was buying pieces from specialist dealers such John Sparkes Ltd. Although none of the pieces in the sale have a John Sparkes label to them some additional items which will be appearing in a future sale do bear the John Sparkes Ltd label.
