A pair of Chinese Transitional blue and white 'mythical beasts' bowls, early Kangxi period, each painted with three mythical beasts in a fenced garden to the exterior, the interior with a hare in the garden, one of them staring at the moon, pine needle borders, Shende Tang zhi mark to base, 15cm diameter, minor faults

Condition:
One of the bowls has a small curved crack to the inside of the foot with some staining around the area, both bowls with some fritting and small glaze losses to the rim, both with typical minor glaze imperfections and some occasional scratches to the glaze. One of the bowls is slightly misshapen, otherwise in good condition.
