A pair of Chelsea botanical dessert plates, c.1765, painted in 'Hans Sloane' style within gilt scroll leaf rims, gold anchor marks, one plate with firing crack

Both plates with some wear to the gilding and each with a tiny shallow chip to the edge, the plate with the larger green leaves has a firing crack in line with the foot rim which has been cleverly overpainted along the stalk of one of leaves, but has extended into slight hairline cracks visible on the surface, otherwise in good condition with no restoration.
