A pair of Chelsea-Derby figures of musicians, c.1775, each modelled seated on a tree stump and a scrollwork base, the male figure playing the bagpipes and the lady lacking her instrument, unmarked, 21.5cm, restorations

The bagpiper has areas of black speckling to the glaze and some small spots of glaze degradation to his right knee, some coloured in splinter chips to his hat, losses to flowers, vertical crack on right side of stump. She has messy restoration to brim of hat, losses to three fingers on her left hand, black bows on bodice and flowers, discoloured restoration to right side of her skirt.
