A pair of 19th century Venetian glass and silvered wood wall mirrors,
of hour glass cartouche form with scallop shell, mask and flower appliqués,

Condition:
Overall both in an oxidised dull silvered tone with some remnants of the original silvering showing within the recesses of the scallops and in small places behind the glass of the frames, one mirror with old cracks through the top left scroll to the left of the mask, small losses to the gesso work around the inner margin, and some small losses to the petals of the flowers, the other mirror with break through the glass scroll to the right of the upper mask and again small losses to petals, both look to have the original now oxidised mirror plates.
