Both of the candlesticks have received numerous chip losses to the flowers and leaves, one has remnants of almost like a red sealing wax at the top of some of the flowers, might be an attempt at old restoration, there is some occasional firing cracks to the stems, some slight flaking to the green enamel on the stems, there is a bit of a chip loss around the collar for the nozzle, the figures themselves, the gentleman figure has a glaze flake to the black enamel on his hat and a shallow corner chip at the back of his tri-corn hat, the female figure has a small area of restoration to the side of her hat, and two splinter chips to the edges of her skirt, one coloured in gilt to disguise it, otherwise in reasonable condition.
