A near pair of Meissen figural candlesticks, late 19th century, each modelled with figures emblematic of winter and summer, with flower encrusted rococo scrollwork stems, underglaze blue crossed swords mark and incised model number 2547 and 1197, 29cm high

Condition:
Winter sconce re-attached with a metal bolt and two sconce petals repaired, images 11 and 12; small chips to leafage. Summer with repairs and damage: sconce loose despite later metal bolted joint; c-scroll supporting sconce re-attached with glue, clearly visible; brown section at this c-scroll poorly rebuilt; several chips to encrusted flowers and leaves, image 13; seated youth right arm rebuilt; chips around footrim. Neither crazed.
