A near pair of Bow figures of musicians, c.1758, the first a gentleman playing the bagpipes, the second a lady holding a piccolo, both with flower painted costumes, on flower encrusted scrollwork bases picked out in puce enamels, both unmarked, 22cm and 23cm, slight restorations

Piccolo player has now discoloured restoration to the following areas; the piccolo, her hat and face, both hands, her upper left arm, to two branches on the base and there are typical tiny losses to the bow on her left shoulder and some of the flowers and leaves of the stump base
Bagpiper has now discoloured restoration to: fingers on both of his hands and the pipes which he is playing, there are a few losses to his hat, and the bow around it and some of of the flowers and leaves on the stump base.
