A Victorian silver book holder case, the lid with magnifying aperture, by Sampson Mordan & Co, London, 1894, containing a miniature dictionary, case 35mm.

There is a groove down the front of the holder with a corresponding groove in the lid which line up at the front?? There is a small dent to the back top rim. The magnifyer is heavily scratched. Numerous minor nicks and scratches to the silver in general. Hallmarks clear. Dictionary in fairly used condition but sound.
