A mid 19th century Nicole Freres key wound cylinder musical box in an inlaid rosewood case, playing on approx 105 tooth comb, cylinder 27.5cm long, stamped ‘Nicole Frere a Geneve’, 26927, with key, the case; 45.5cm wide, 17cm deep, 12.5cm high.

Condition:
The music box is in good condition with no broken teeth. Brass frame stamped 26927; metalwork not corroded; tune-sheet lacking but playing several airs (unknown how many) including UK National anthem; good tone; with a key that fits. Please telephone for audible demonstration. Case with one long horizontal scratch across top, approx. 20cm, see 9th image; other minor surface scratches; no key to lock. Also played is No Place Like Home.
