A mid 19th century French ormolu clock, Raingo Freres, Paris, the foliate cartouche case raised on a rosewood plinth with glass dome, the signed 5.75 inch Roman enamel dial with Breguet hands, the signed two train drum movement with outside countwheel strike on a bell, clock 22.25in.

The dome and stand are in good order apart from slight warping of the veneers to the right side of the base and the original silk lining of the base is faded and stained, the ormolu is in very good condition with just some very slight wear to the extremities and some very slight handling marks, the dial is in good condition apart from wear to the signature, the hands are good, the movement functions, the movement itself appears clean and polished, it may require a service or overhaul.
