A mid 18th century French ormolu mantel clock, with ornate pierced foliate scroll case and enamelled Roman dial, unsigned eight day countwheel movement, height 15in.

Very good probably recently restored condition with bright shiny ormolu, just some of the attachment screws showing as a darker colour, dial in good clean order as are the hands, movement complete and going but not tested for timekeeping, comes with silk suspension and a later winding key.
