A mid 17th century English needlework panel, worked with figures and birds amidst stylised foliage, in blue, red and aubergine coloured threads, mounted on a Victorian rosewood framed footstool, W.4ft 1in. D.1ft
Embroidery is very worn and faded. Several large holes and tears. Large amount of fraying. Base has splits around feet. No signs of damage or repairs.
