"Dear Jane / Very nice to know you are with us at Greenway. I really didn't have much time when I saw Mrs Hicks last week in Oxford as we were in the middle of a party! But I gather she's made all arrangements with you - I start taking over, that on Monday 22nd - Peter will arrive there on Monday & John on Tuesday as far as I know - Peter is here with us now and we have been two days at Stratford - / We have still to clear out of the London flat & get finally transferred to the *** Mews house and arrange for some furniture to go down to Devon - I can't do very much at a time since I have been ill - We hope to be at Greenway at least a month from August 12th. Mr & Mrs Cecil Mallowan get back from Persia on 14th & 15th August. I'll get Mr Hicks to settle up with you, each week until I get down - Looking forward to seeing you very much / yours A. Mallowan"., formerly from Agatha Christie’s home, Greenway House, Devon
