A late Victorian silver mounted cut glass claret jug by Mappin Brothers, of ovoid form, on cusped foot, Sheffield, 1894, 27cm.

Mounts are fully hallmarked silver. Hinge is good. There are some minute chips to the underside of the foot rim in one area and there appers to be a small chip to the glass at the base of the spout on the interior of the jug.
