A late Victorian ormolu mounted golden oak cased eight day chiming bracket clock and bracket in architectural case, the arched dial with silvered chime / silent, slow / fast, chime on eight bells / Westminster chimes and Roman chapter ring, unsigned triple fusee movement chiming on eight bells and striking on a gong, 37cm wide, 25cm deep, 63cm high, with original wall bracket

Condition:
Top finial is a little loose, gilt finish to the metal work is now somewhat matted with a little verdigris in places, dial looks original and untouched, now slightly oxidised, working key for front door, small imperfections to the veneer, working key to the back door which has an undulating metal grille now somewhat oxidised, movement looks rather dirty but complete, hammer striking the gong has been taped in place, comes with original brass pendulum and probably original winding key, not tested for timekeeping, bracket in good order - top 40cm wide, 27cm deep, 30cm high
