A late Victorian oak smoker’s cabinet modelled as a sentry box with a watercolour panel by Richard Simkin (1840-1926), with slatted pitched roof, the hinged front door with glass panel with original watercolour of a soldier of ‘The Seaforth Highlanders' standing to attention, opening to reveal three drawers each with flush fitting brass finger pulls, the sprung lock which locks when the door is pushed shut can only be opened by key, 12cm wide, 12cm deep, 26.5cm high

Overall of a good rich mid to ginger brown oak tone, minor chipping to the corners of the tiled roof on the lower right side, otherwise in good order, watercolour is signed by R. Simkin, original key operates the original lock, some rubbing to the original baize base, overall very good order
