A late Victorian mahogany mounted brass and cast iron demonstration model of a safe, with painted finish and fitted interior, 14cm wide, 12.5cm deep, 21cm high

Condition:
An attractive piece, the top and bottom of rich reddish brown tone but with some dents and scratches commensurate with age, possibly at one time enamelled finish now rather oxidised and pitted, the brass work oxidised and parcel gilt banding mostly rubbed away, no key present for the lock, central knob operates the internal latches, divided interior has two opening drawers, no signs of any manufacturers naming.
