A late Victorian giltwood and gesso wall mirror, with ornate pierced scroll flower and dragon decoration, W.4ft 8in. H.5ft 1in.

Overall very dirty and dusty as this mirror has been stored in an outbuilding of a local country house, other than a few scattered cracks, the majority of the gesso works looks to be complete and in good order, the bottom scroll has been broken through and some attempt at repair made although this will require further attention, the plate looks to be the original one and shows some oxidisation of the silvering, overall fair to good condition but in need of some attention particularly across the bottom.
