A late Victorian gilt gesso overmantel mirror, decorated with classical motifs, W.4ft 8in. H.5ft 3in.

A small amount of damage to the top right corner and some cracking in the thicker portions of the gesso work but overall very good condition, high state of gilding, one or two tiny scuffs and dents elsewhere but really very good, mirror plate looks to be later but does has some depth and character.
