A late Victorian five-stone ruby and diamond ring, circa 1897, claw-set with an alternating sequence of three circular-cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.40 carats, and two circular-cut rubies totalling approximately 0.50 carats, mounted in 18ct gold, size M, British hallmarks, gross weight approximately 4 grams

Small chip to the table facet of the central stone along with a small crack. A few tiny nibbles around the table facet edges of both rubies. Some of the claws need re-tipping.
