A late Victorian demi-fluted silver two handled pedestal presentation cup and cover, by John Newton Mappin, with engraved inscription and acanthus leaf capped scroll handles with fluted domed cover and turned finial, London, 1890, height 33cm, 47.4 oz.

Dent to the lid just below the fluting. The left hande has been pushed into the body slightly. The cup stands slightly off centre, some downward pressure has been applied to one side. Overall condition is otherwise good. Hallmarks clear.
