A late Victorian carved oak "Lighthouse " clock barometer by Frank Flower of St James
Estimate £150-200
The piece has been repaired at the top left corner. The right hand strip of archictrave at the door near the base has been off and re-stuck with glue residue visible in the surrounding area. There are shrinkage gaps visible at several of the joins and there is a split at the left hand corner on the section above the top of base. On the right hand side of the top of the base there is a nail that has been tacked in and bent over and flattened, some minor chips at some of the corners. There are several nicks and scuffs at the edges and it would benefit from a clean. The dial has a chip at the edge, just above 9 o'clock. 5 o'clock has browning surrounding as does below 6 and around the centre. The glass has several light surface scratches
