A late Victorian carved and stained ivory chess set, (lacks one pawn), kings 3.5in., and an Anglo Indian bone chess set, kings 3.75in.

Turned set- One black pawn missing.. One black rook is chipped. One black bishop has a tiny chip, as does the Queen. Some minor wear to the staining in general. One white bishop has a chipped finial.
Carved set- Grubby in appearance. One white pawn is chipped. One white rook has a split to the side.
Four black pawns are chipped and one other has wear to the staining. One black rook has a finial missing. The thread securing the head of one of the knights is worn. Some minor wear to the staining in general.
