A late Victorian Chippendale style mahogany serving table, with pedestal cupboards, each mounted an urn shaped knife box, over frieze drawers and cupboard doors, the serving table with two frieze drawers and blind fret carved squared legs, table W.4ft 6in. D.2ft 2in. H.3ft; cupboards W.1ft 9in. D.2ft 2in. H.6ft

Overall good rich reddish mid to dark brown mahogany colour in a fair state of polish.
Central table - top has one or two deep dents and otherwise light surface scratching commensurate with use, a few fine old cracks running in from each side but nothing severe, oak lined drawers have the original handles, the four small sections of moulding running around the bottom of the right front leg are missing, the same sections of moulding are missing at the back of the front left leg and complete on the back legs, front feet are a little scuffed from use. Left pedestal - lid of the urn is broken away from the central column and needs re-attaching, central column does rise and fixes into place when pulled upwards, urn has old fine surface dents and minor scuffing commensurate with age, there are two pronounced splits running to the top just in front of the plinth to the urn, frieze drawer has a split to the base of the drawer lining, cupboard door is slightly warped out of shape with small amounts of veneer missing from the top right corner and bottom right corner, a few small dents and scuff marks and one scratch just above 3 o'clock to the front of the door, lock is not attached, no key, two internal trays are present, one with a split across its base, feet show a little scuffing, left handside is lighter in tone than elsewhere. Right pedestal - lid and fixing column to urn working, minor scuffs and dents throughout the urn commensurate with age, the urns are not fixed to the top the bases so can be placed as one wishes, one pronounced split running across the top, door is slightly out of alignment with the case frame, some veneers damaged and broken in the lower left corner, opens to reveal a cellaret drawer lined in thin lead with three compartments at the back, the handle to this drawer is missing, some scuffing to feet, no key to lock, slightly lighter in colour on the right hand side, overall other than the need for some repolishing and minor mouldings the only real faults to this set are the splits to the top of pedestal cupboards.
