A late Victorian 18ct gold J.W. Benson "The Ludgate" keywind lever pocket watch, with Roman dial and subsidiary seconds, the signed three quarter plate movement numbered 4658, with monogrammed case back, together with a later watch stand.

The large monogram of the case back is a little tired. There are 3 small hairlines to the dial, two close to the subsidiary dial, the other by the 10. There is a small ding to the top of the case back. The case back doesn't close firmly. There is a naive engraved inscription on the inside of the case back. Gross weight is 105 grams and the case diameter is 50mm.
