A late George III silver pair cased single fusee lever keywind patent pocket watch with alarm, by Viner, Royal Exchange & New Bond Street, London, with Roman dial, hour, minute and alarm hands, the signed movement numbered 387, the alarm set by the pendant, case diameter 50mm, case hallmarked for James Melvill, London, 1816, with key.

Condition:
Small hole to the silver by the hinge on the outer case. Tiny fixing screw loose but present. Watch ticks when wound. Alarm not working, possibly piece or pieces missing? Not striking. In need of attention. Three hairline cracks and a star hairline crack to the dial. Numerous surface scratches to the glass. Numerous surface scratches to the cases.  'Wind Up' and 'Warning' engraved on the inner case a little tired.
