A late 19th/early 20th Arts & Crafts? silver casket, stamped with the name Radcliff with two monograms IR? of rectangular form with canted corners and decorated with dolphins, shells and scrolls, the lid with ornate engraved armorial, the base with engraved inscription in latin "Of small number, but their valour quick for war, 1640", on four shell feet, 19.1cm, 24 oz.

There are a couple of very minor dings to the lid and the base. The piece would benefit from a good clean. Some very minor wear to the raised part of the decoration to the lid, otherwise the overall condition is good.
