A late 19th century Maple & Co carved and ebonised oak chiming bracket clock, with Westminster and eight bell chimes, movement striking on eight bells and five gongs, 23in., overall height 34in.

Dark ebonised oak case with some rubbing down to the oak colour through polishing over the years, box shaped top section of the clock is loose and lifts away, one short section of moulding missing to the top left of the front, no case key although both doors unlocked, dial looks original with some rubbing to the silvering, further small section of moulding missing lower right to the front of the case where the moulding is starting to lift away, fabric to the back of both side fret work panels tired and perforated, metal grille to the back door now pushed in, movement without any inscriptions, stamps or numbering, looks to be in good untouched condition with a repeat function, nut to hold pendulum in place when travelling is missing, comes with probably the original pendulum but no keys, triple fusee movement.
Height 23in excluding bracket. Width- 13.25in. Depth- 10.5in.
