A late 19th century Italian micro-mosaic plaque, depicting the Temples of Vesta, in white metal frame, 2 x 2.75in., fitted leather case

There appears to be 3 or 4 very very tiny pieces missing on the micro mosaic along with some tiny holes sporadically dotted about but not damage as such probably just the way it is constructed, no visible chips or cracks from the front or the back, the frame is in good order if somewhat tarnished, the box is generally in good order considering age although the interior silk lining is freyed in parts.
