A late 19th century Indo-Portuguese hardwood settee, densely carved with flowerheads, W.6ft 6in. D.2ft 3in. H.3ft 5in.

Difficult to date, catalogued as late 19thc but possibly later in date. 1 or 2 small dents and scuffs scattered throughout frame more notably wear and rubbing to the top of the arms. Seat in fair condition but a little faded. Beneath this sit planks which drop in to fit between the seat rails. Little sign of any wear to underframe. Overall frame in good tight condition although back spindles do rattle when frame is shaken.
