A late 19th century French ormolu mounted red boullework mantel clock, with enamelled tablet numerals, sunburst pendulum and Japy Freres countwheel movement, height 20in.

Ormolu and brassware a little dirty and rubbed, now with a matt finish, overall this has the appearance of having suffered from nicotine staining, one or two small scratches to the enamelled numerals but overall fair, key operates the lock on the front door, back door doesn't quite shut properly, a little of the brass starting to lift at the back right side, movement going but not tested for timekeeping, comes with two later winding keys.
