A late 19th century French hour repeating ormolu carriage clock, examined by Wales & McCulloch, Ludgate Hill, London, with corinthian column case and part silvered arabic dial, movement striking on a gong, width 4.25in. depth 3.5in. height 7in.

Case is a pale golden slightly matted tone with oxidisation spots throughout, top handle slightly out of shape and a little worn, dial oxidised with a matted silver and around the numerals pale golden tone, hands look original, glass all good, top plate probably original, movement engraved SF, hands and numbered 9232, movement going but not tested for timekeeping, repeat mechanism working. Comes with original travelling case which is a little rubbed in the usual places and has lost it handle.
