A late 19th century French chinoiserie lacquered serpentine commode, fitted two drawers on cabriole legs, W.2ft 1in. D.1ft 6in. H.2ft 7in.

Overall this piece remains in good original condition, there is however some damage to the top which has a circular damp effected white patch in the middle, lifting of the lacquering particularly towards the back and some flaking away of the lacquering, the drawers fronts, sides and legs are in much better condition just with a slightly dull finish, handles look original as do locks but there is no key.
