A late 19th century French black slate calendar mantel clock, the upper dial with enamelled Roman numerals and visible escapement, indistinctly signed E.H. & Pearson, the lower dial with enamelled moonphase, day, date and month, Marti eight day movement striking upon a bell, 30cm wide, 16.5cm deep, 43cm high

Condition:
Case a little dirt speckled with some nibbling chips to the edges particularly to the lower left side of the plinth but also elsewhere, naming to the upper dial is rubbed otherwise dials look very good, eight day movement striking on a bell, going but not tested for timekeeping, looks complete and comes with pendulum and an associated winding key, chipping to the glass panel of the lower back door.
