A clear crack to the side of the tailpiece, approx. 10cm; underside with long scratch, approx. 18cm; underside rubs caused by chin-rest; all edges of body rubbed; rubs at bridge area with some loss of varnish; Paris maker’s label with hand-written date, 1896. Back 36cm. 59.5cm full-length.
