Hinges loose in situ, replaced pins?? Small dent to two corners. Some minor surface scratches in places. Quite tarnished. Decoration still quite crisp, commensurate with age and some use.



Provenance - Alfred Theodore Arber-Cooke (c.1910-1993); thence by family descent. Arber-Cooke lived in Carmarthenshire, Wales and was an avid collector of European & Asian works of art and an author of the History of Llandovery. He was collecting from the 1940s to the 1980s.
