A late 18th century gold mounted glass scent bottle, the 'dove' stopper possibly St James porcelain, H. 5.2cm, with original leather case

One side of the bird in perfect condition, the other side with losses to the eye and beak and top of the wing. Small dents and nicks around the inside of the collar. Chain is present but not attached to the stopper. Glass looks very good, with just the minutest of flea bites around the edge of the base, the case does have a small smeared mark near the catch.
